Mono’s 6th Anniversary Team-Building Retreat in Heyuan

On the morning of April 18, everyone gathered at the company and departed for Heyuan full of energy and anticipation. As the scenery changed outside the bus windows, conversations, laughter, and songs set the tone for the journey ahead.
Upon arrival at the training base, the strong sunshine did nothing to dampen the team’s enthusiasm. We quickly broke into groups and began a series of collaborative challenges that tested coordination, communication, and trust.
In one activity, team members worked together to control a shared drum with multiple ropes, keeping a ball in motion through precise balance and continuous adjustment. It was a vivid reminder that strong execution depends on attention to detail, mutual support, and collective focus.
Another challenge required dozens of participants to move forward on long shared boards in complete synchronization. From the first unsteady steps to the final rhythmic pace, the team experienced firsthand what it means to move with one goal and one direction.
A silent communication exercise added a different layer to the experience. Without speaking, teams had to pass information accurately and efficiently. The challenge highlighted an important truth: effective communication is not only about delivering a message, but also about understanding, trust, and alignment.

As the day’s activities came to an end, the evening at Bavaria Manor brought a more relaxed atmosphere. Around the barbecue and bonfire, colleagues shared food, music, and laughter. Teammates who are usually focused and reserved at work showed different sides of themselves, turning the evening into a warm and memorable celebration.

On the second day, the team visited Wanlv Lake, a national 5A scenic destination, and explored its natural beauty. Surrounded by open water and green mountains, everyone had the chance to slow down, reflect, and enjoy a sense of calm away from the pace of daily work.

Although the trip lasted only two days and one night, the experience left a lasting impression. More than a spring outing, it was a meaningful opportunity to deepen mutual understanding, strengthen team cohesion, and build fresh momentum for the future.
At Mono, we believe that strong teams create strong results. With renewed energy and a stronger sense of unity, we will continue moving forward together, embracing new opportunities and future challenges with confidence.
