Femtosecond lasers are ultra-short pulse lasers (1 fs = 10⁻¹⁵ seconds) with extremely high peak power and energy density. They can directly ionize materials without a re-melted layer, minimizing thermal impact during etching and enabling ultra-high processing quality.

Blind Hole Etching

Blind holes are micro-holes visible only on one side, drilled to a specific depth, and are high-difficulty processing tasks.  Femtosecond lasers achieve micron-level precision, accurately controlling hole diameter, depth and bottom morphology.  The processed edges are clean and neat, with no recast layer, molten residue or carbonization.  It enables high-quality cold processing for both metals (e.g., copper) and insulating dielectrics (PI, LCP, FR4, etc.).
